About Ken Culver Photography

We are a husband-and-wife team of professional photographers who are able to shoot a variety of genres ranging from event and lifestyle photos, to headshots, senior students and more.

Our work is distinguished from others in that we generally shoot as a team, leveraging Ken’s technical skills with Corina’s creative eye and social talents. Events often combine the need to capture specific subject matter while also gathering candid shots of guests. Our complimentary skills allow us to not only get the main subject shots, but also the establishing venue shots, event details, guests and so much more. Once the shoot is concluded, it is our practice to edit every shot intended for delivery. While most photographers look at retouching as an “add-on” service, we will not release a photo until it has been cropped, sized, straightened, corrected for exposure, and where possible cleaned up of distracting elements.

Photography Services

• EVENTS - We shoot events ranging from award ceremonies to concerts. Event photography often involves low-light conditions among other challenges. For that reason, it is imprtant to have knowledgeable photographers with good equipment and post-processing skills to render great photos of your special events.
• WEDDINGS - Weddings and Quinceañeras are among the most demanding photo projects. They often involve multiple venues, preparation photos along with detail shots. The pace may be hectic, making two shooters essential.
• LIFESTYLE PORTRAITS - Portraits shot on location can make for special memories. We have performed a number of high school senior portrait sessions that have been treasured by students and their families.
• HEADSHOTS - Just about everyone needs a professional headshot whether for business purposes or to use as a profile picture on any number of platforms. We are able to shoot headshots against a plain backdrop, and composite different backgrounds into the photo to create the desired effect.
• REAL ESTATE - In the competitive world of real estate, the appeal of a listing can rely heavily on the quality of the listing photos. Prospective clients will almost always make their initial assessment based upon photos posted online by the listing agent. Since most listing involve printed flyers, the quality of the photos used for that purpose are critical as well.
• SPORTS - Sports photography can be a challenge due to quick-moving subjects and limitations on photographer access. Using a professional photographer with the proper gear and experience can help ensure your action is captured effectively.
• LANDSCAPE - Not every photo project is as dynamic as those described above. Often the quiet beauty of the subject speaks for itself.
• ANIMALS - Even though we mainly photograph people and events, we always enjoy capturing beautiful images of animals under various conditions.
